I've been experimenting with the Blurb website and software to produce my first self published book of portfolio prints. It was a good idea to produce only a 30 page book to start with. I can now see that you need to pay special attention to your images before uploading them to Blurb. Basically you need to lighten all black and white images and brighten all the colour ones. Blurb books tends to print a little darker than your screen view.
The revised book will follow shortly.
